There are several benefits that come with integrating artificial intelligence into data warehousing and business intelligence which include:
1. Improved Decision-Making
Using AI, businesses are better placed to have deeper know-how about their operations and thus improve decision-making processes based on real-time knowledge gained thereof. By doing so, the user can also identify patterns as well as correlations present within datasets which may not be readily apparent to humans.
2 Increased Efficiency
Data warehousing activities as well as BI take less time when they are automated using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Therefore, employees would instead focus on more strategic activities rather than manual processing.
3 Cost Savings
With improved efficiencies and reduced errors through use of machine learning algorithms in data warehousing systems substantial cost savings can be realized whereby businesses avoid costs associated with poor-quality data or defective decisions
4 Competitive Advantage
Ultimately organizations utilizing AI capabilities will always keep up with emerging trends since they have ability to react swiftly hence out-performing their rivals even amidst competition; this has been witnessed through better decision making processes made possible by technology advancements like big-data analytics(Columbus 2018).

Challenges and Considerations
However there are some challenges surrounding artificial intelligence:
1. Data Quality
To provide accurate insights, AI relies on the kind of information that is high quality. Therefore it is important for businesses to ensure data cleanliness and this starts by having clean data.
2. Technical Expertise
For AI solutions to be implemented in business entities, it is necessary to have technical skills. Many companies may need to train or hire specialized staff members who could then support their systems accordingly.
3. Ethical Considerations
AI systems trained on biased data end up generating biased results from time to time. Therefore, although they are used in a more efficient manner than traditional computer programs, these systems must not be unfair or prejudiced.
4. Security Risks
Though AI can also enhance security measures around an organization’s operations, this technology can equally be targeted by hackers as well hence the need to have secure platforms which protect them against any such attacks.
Conclusion
Artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed the way in which companies conduct data warehousing as well as business intelligence initatives by automating complex tasks, improving data quality and providing advanced analytics enabling better decision making process so that organizations remain competitive in today’s environment; however they should understand what challenges exist beforehand taking steps to mitigate them.(Markowitz 2019). In essence, if correctly applied, AI will help convert information into valuable knowledge.”
